QSG of NSW 2020 Talks

The schedule of talks for the Quilt Study Group in the first half of 2020 is now set. They will take place at 2pm at The Powerhouse Museum, 500 Harris Street, Ultimo.

The first talk will be given by Catherine Butterworth on Saturday the 7th of March. It is titled 'My Approach to Designing Prize-winning Quilts' and Catherine will bring along a number of her quilts to view.

The second talk will be given by Catherine Porter on Saturday the 23rd of May on Ralli Quilts, the traditional dowry quilts made by poor rural women from southern Pakistan and western India. Catherine will bring along the vintage Rallis she now has in her collection.


Entry to the Powerhouse Museum is free if you are coming to the QSG of NSW talks. The MAAS cafe near the entry to the Museum and the Junction Cafe on Level 1 are both open on the weekend. For access information, including reduced parking fees nearby on the weekend, see
